Transform Your Health: Embrace this Sugar Detox with Dr. Hotze’s Optimal Eating Cookbook By: Steven F. Hotze, MD

Eating healthy can be a struggle because it can be hard to know where to start. But your body is begging you to do something! Perhaps you have yeast overgrowth in your stomach or colon? This is also known as Candida.

Are symptoms like these common for you?

  • weight gain
  • bloating
  • unhealthy gut
  • fatigue
  • skin rashes
  • immune suppression
  • chemical sensitivity
  • muscle aches
  • hives
  • anxiety
  • fungal infections under fingernails and toenails
  • vaginal yeast infections
  • depression
  • joint pain
  • inability to concentrate
  • athlete’s foot
  • thrush, a white coating on the tongue

Your body might be telling you that it is in need of a yeast (also known as Candida) cleanse! Some also like to think of a yeast-free diet as a Sugar Detox, and it’s not as difficult as you might think!

Why should I be worried about yeast?

Yeast is a fungus, a single-cell living organism, or pathogen, that is capable of causing infection and disease. Yeast naturally starts to overgrow in the colon, causing toxins to be released into the body. This weakens your immune system and makes your body more reactive to allergies and infections.

What is a yeast cleanse?

Also known as the Candida Diet and the Sugar-Detox, the yeast-free diet stops the intake of yeast into your body, while recommended prescriptions such as Nystatin and Fluconazole help kill off the remaining yeast stuck in your colon that has been building up for years because of the normal American diet (3 meals a day, plus snacks). Now you may want to try a yeast-free diet without prescription drugs. Remember this, the bacteria does need to be “killed” and taking Nystatin and Fluconazole is the most effective way to get that accomplished. However, there are also supplements that can help boost that process as well. You can try the Yeast Free Starter Kit or the Sugar Detox Pak which are terrific alternatives.
